Studio 5 - Safe Haven Assisted Living

The project showcases a personal earliest interior memory, a living room space designed to bring people together. The design intent was crafted to emphasise fostering connection and community. An image index to cultivate inspiration, a fresh look into materials and a test fit out all lead to creating:

The communal module space within Safe Haven Assisted Living, thoughtfully designed for younger wheelchair users seeking a safe and engaging environment to connect with fellow residents. The design focuses on three main themes: Connection between Indoors & Outdoors, Creating a Sanctuary, and Community.

The original ideas for the communal module evolved into detailed thematic concepts. The design process was executed in Revit, producing rendered documentation that illustrates the space’s layout and aesthetics. This includes detailed representations of materials, furniture, and appliances, ensuring a complete visualisation of the final design.
